Joshua Hainey was born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. At a very young age he realized he could do nothing to save himself from his sin, and he asked Jesus to be his Lord and Savior. From that day forward he committed his life to following and maturing his relationship with Jesus. His commitment to Jesus began to waiver around his Junior High School years, and he soon became a lukewarm Christian. However, God remained faithful to their relationship, and He poured out His love and grace, radically changing Joshua’s heart and his life’s direction on a missions trip to Mexico following his sophomore year in High School. As a junior in High School, Joshua felt God calling him into full-time ministry through a video series about an organization called The International Justice Mission, which helps people who are entrapped in social injustices around the world. Joshua knew that God was more than capable to save them from their hopeless situation and bring them into relationship with Him. After graduating from High School, Joshua attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO to prepare and train for full-time ministry. He graduated in May of 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Missions. He now serves as the Youth Pastor at Abundant Life Church where he believes that God can radically change this generation just like he radically changed his life after his sophomore year in High School.
