"Reaching A Generation for Eternity" RAGE Student Ministry exists to build a spiritual commitment in students (7th - 12th grade) by providing an atmosphere where students belong, believe, and ultimately their behavior is impacted towards Godliness.  Through worship, scripture teaching and practical application, solid friendships, and outreach to community, we exist to honor Christ.

RAGE Youth Ministry is currently meeting for our weekly service in the sanctuary of Abundant Life Church Sundays at 6:00pm.  Our small groups are currently meeting on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the church.  The ministry is designed for 7th - 12th grade students, and the door is open for all students of various backgrounds and cultures to call "RAGE" their home!

Small groups meet regularly with various opportunities to connect in a fun setting with other students.  Guys meet every Wednesday night in the gym from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. for basketball and an encouraging devotion from one of our leaders.  Girls meet every Wednesday night in the Youth Game Room (room 100) from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.  You enjoy fun games, theme parties, off-site trips for dessert, and relevant devotions from our leaders.  The Youth "Gatherings"  are for guys & girls and meet on various Fridays at a leader's home for food, fun, & a devotion. We love to worship, serve, and have fun with our youth events!  They go hand-in-hand, and many exciting things are taking place throughout the year: Summer Camp Winter Retreat Youth Convention Fine Arts Missions Trips Amusement Park Retreats Girls/Guys Night Out Lock-Ins

Time: TBD; Cost: app $9.00    Winter Retreat  -  Feb. 16-18 (Sat-Mon/Presidents Day Weekend)  Previous trip App. Cost for Students : app. $60-$150 depending on ski options. Location: Timber Ridge, Kalamazoo MI.     March:   Guys/Girls Day Out - March 15th (Sat) Guys are aiming to go play paintball while the girls are doing shopping & a movie. Cost app. $15-$35 varying on activity.     Speed the Light Fundraiser - March 16th (Sun) Bakesale for Speed the Light following A.M. service.     April:   Spring Break Lock-In – March 28th (Fri) Details to be determined. Cost: app. $15-$20.   Wheeler Mission Dinner – April 2nd (Wed) Students serving a meal at the mission downtown. Space will be limited and details coming soon.        Leadership/Spiritual Emphasis Weekend - April 11-13 (Fri-Sun) with Evangelist Allen Griffin.   District Fine Arts - April 18-19 (Fri - Sat) @ Calvary Temple. Cost: $25 per person for 1st entry; $10 additional entries. Registration Forms are due no later than March 2nd @ Sun night youth service       May:   Cedar Point Retreat  -  May 16-17 (Fri-Sat) Cost: app $50.00-$60.00 which includes park ticket & hotel stay.   Speed the Light Walkathon – May 24th (Sat) @ Military Park app. 9am, 5k walk to raise money for Speed the Light. Cost: $10 Registration Fee (includes lunch & T-shirt)     June:   Holland Park Outreach – June 7th (Sat) Kids outreach effort with Cosmic Kids ministry at local park in Fishers. Details to be determined.   Youth Camp Schedule:  June 16-20(Mon-Fri) Speaker: Wayne Northup; Cost: app $160 ;             Dominican Republic Missions Trip – June 23-July 1 (Mon-Tue) Cost: app $1500 per student/person                 July:   Canoe/Outdoor Camping Retreat - July 11-12 (Fri-Sat) Details to be determined. Cost: app $15-$25   Faith, Hope, & Love Outreach  -  July 20-25 (Sun-Sat) Week long of community outreach projects through unified church efforts. It’s a missions trip in our own community. Youth Emphasis/Conference is July 24-25 of that week with a national artist concert! Cost: $10 per day of missions serving; youth conference price to be determined.     August:   Fine Arts National Competition  -  Aug. 4-9 (Mon-Sat) Location: Charlotte, North Carolina. New this year: 3-on-3 student basketball tournament   Disciple Rock Concert - Aug. 17 (Sun) at 6:00 p.m. with Attaboy, Wonderboy, and The Lacks.  Tickets are $12.00 in advance & $15.00 at the door.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Go to www.wildstormmusic.org for tickets or the church office.         September:   Jr. High Girls Sleepover- Sep. 12th & 13th (Fri-Sat) at the Garza's home, 7:00 p.m.   King’s Island Amusement Park Trip - Sept. 20th (Sat) Cost: $30.00 not including food.    See You at the Pole Pre Rally - Sep. 23 (Tue) Rally with other youth local ministries.   See You at the Pole - Sep. 24 (Wed) All Schools     October:   National Speed the Light Sunday - Oct. 19 Sunday morning youth emphasis with offering for STL   Alt. Halloween Retreat  -  Oct. 31-Nov. 1 (Fri-Sat) Location: Kenny Irwin Campgrounds; Cost: $15.00-$20.00  (hayride, food, games, no sleep, etc.)     November:   Youth Convention -  Nov. 21-22 (Fri-Sat) Location: TBD; Cost: app $35-$40.   Thanksgiving Dinner Outreach – Nov. 26th (Wed) All Details to be determined. We want to target the needy and bring them/invite them to a special dinner for them that the students put on.      December:   Christmas Party  -  Dec. 14th (Sun) “White Elephant” gift party with food and games.
