Come check us out this Sunday

What to expect on a Sunday

When you arrive

Parking: The main entrance to the building where you'd come through is facing 82nd street. Feel free to park anywhere, but we do have reserved guest spots at the front available for you.

Coming in: We will have someone at the door to greet you and make you feel welcomed and at home. There are also donuts and coffee (or hot chocolate) available in the welcome area. Our greeters are happy to show you where to go or answer any questions you might have.

During Service

About the service: Service begins at 10:30 AM in the sanctuary. There will be a modern contemporary worship music and the occasional hymn. We strive create an engaging worship environment designed to make passionate worship comfortable and easy to participate in.

The message is Biblical and relevant for life in todays world and culture, usually brought by our Lead Pastor. We preach the truth of the Gospel in love and desire for people to respond to the Holy Spirit moving in their life. Service usually ends close to 12:00 noon.

What to wear: We believe in "come as you are". That means that if you prefer to dress up for church, feel free, but if you prefer to dress more casually like jeans or a t-shirt, feel free to wear that as well. Most people will be somewhere in the middle. Our desire is for you to feel comfortable and welcome.

After Service

Connect Card: At the info desk in the lobby, we have connect cards. If you fill one out, we would be glad to follow up with you about how your visit was and ways you can take next steps at Abundant Life. But we also just want to connect with you and make you feel part of the family.

Next Steps: At Abundant Life, we don't want your church experience to just be coming on a Sunday morning, we want to be part of your life and for you to be part of ours.

Next Steps Class: We have a Next Steps Class taught by Pastor Peter which is the next step in your journey at ALC. It simply is an introduction to himself as the Lead Pastor, to the history of our church and what we believe in, but also what church life looks like and how you can be a part of it.

What about Children and Teenagers?

ALC Kids (6 weeks - 6th grade)

We offer a friendly kid’s ministry areas for ages 6 weeks through 6th grade.  When you arrive walk up to our ALC Kids Check-In Table and you will be greeted by a member of our check in team.  They will have you complete a short Family Info form and give your child a check in tag with a unique number that matches a pick-up tag that you receive.  You will then be shown where the ministry areas are for your child based on their age.

At the end of service, you will return to the ministry area where your child is and use the pick-up tag you received at check-in to pick up your child.
